About Us

Who We Are

We are truly a community church. A non-denominational group of Christ-followers who choose to be united in Christ's love and the core beliefs that we share, while allowing our differences to challenge and grow us individually. We seek to share Christ's love with the extended Hideaway and Lindale community. We also provide various groups and opportunities for personal spiritual growth for our church body.

The current theme of the day at Hideaway Church is “We Are Better Together”. You’ll see that reflected in our staffing structure and in the many examples of members that partner together in specific church ministries. We’re learning and experiencing how much fuller life can be when we all operate in our giftings and rely on the strengths of others in the areas where we feel weak. This type of interdependence promotes unity and exemplifies how the body of Christ can function in real life.

Our ministry structures and strategies are designed around the belief and with the goal that God transforms us into the image of His Son and therefore is in the process of transforming us into the kind of people that He can work through to change the world.
